    Hi

    1, Im 4 1/2 weeks post op, im still quite puffy in the face. My question is when will the swelling go away its geting me down :(

    2, Also im having trouble talking clearly is this normal at 4.5 weeks ??

    3, It hurts only on the left side of my jaw when i yawn , normal ?

    All sounds normal for this early in recovery, especially the swelling and talking. The swelling can take months to go down completely but it will go down, just takes time.

    The pain in your left jaw could just be your nerves waking up but if it started suddenly or is pretty severe, it's worth at least mentioning to your surgeon.

    im 6 weeks on now, still swollen, still have trouble talking. :) which i feel it has alot to do with my numb lips and them being restricted by my braces. I have thin lips and had a move forward of 6mm.. so it has def taken up some room :)
