I am 40 years old and I decided to have MMA surgery to correct my sleep apnea. I did my research and chose the BEST doctor I could. Dr. Kasey Li in Palo Alto. I have a blog about it: http://jawsurgeryadventures.blogspot.com/
I had something a little weird happen to me, my nose collapsed during the surgery. But I am all better now and I'm really happy I did it! My surgery was April 22 2009. My big concerns were losing weight and muscle as I am a weightlifter type, and also possibly being permanently damaged cosmetically or functionally. I am so happy that I am fine, look good, and the weight came back quickly. I think it was due to my P90x workouts, great blended drinks, essential oils and acupuncture. I'm happy to answer questions, I love Brandon's site, I showed it to my parents to prepare them for what I was about to go through. Barry

    What's up Barry!

That's awesome, thanks so much, and it's great to hear how well the surgery went, even with a few concerns and problems along the way.

Congrats on a successful surgery, and best of luck with the last bit of recovery, if there's even any left.
