Alright so I had an appointment with my orthodontist last week. He put in my brackets and orthodontic spacers. Today I had another appointment, 6 days later, and he put in the wires, and molar bands.
A couple of questions...
On the bottom row of teeth, the very last molars on my row of teeth don't have anything on them. No brackets, no molar bands, nothing... I'm curious, does anybody know why he left them out? I called the office to ask, but he's busy with patients now so I'm waiting for a call back.
Another question - he put some weird cement on my molar bands, is that removable or will it stay? It looks a bit like gum on my molars. What is that for?
