Next week is 6 weeks post surgery and I get my splint out!
I have 3 questions. First, how hard is the splint removal process? What should I expect? (I go from surgeon to orthodontist - one right after the other.)
Second, I'm supposed to return to work on that day....how will I feel?
Third, will I be able to eat easier after it is removed?

Oh you have nothing to worry about. My surgeon took mine out without even telling me, and I didn't know what he was doing until he actually took the splint out of my mouth.
You don't feel any different. It's just a splint coming out of your mouth. It shouldn't affect how you feel at all.
Of course. you can eat and talk loads better. I just ate ravioli without chopping it up or anything.
