age you can get surgery?

    Hello, im 15 and have a crossbite and tmj and was wondering what age i can get jaw surgery? I'm currently wearing braces right now but my orthodontist never mentioned anything about surgery to me. How much is the procedure and does your face change dramatically?

    I know when I was first looking into it, most surgeons like to wait until you're completely finished growing, so your growth doesn't disrupt the healing or the plates/screws.
