Okay, first of all before my operation, i used to move my jaw forward myself without realising because i was so self conscious so to me,
so my jaw doesn't look that bad and two - sorry for my horrible face!

This was before i got braces, i was 16:

    I hate this picture

    last one before:

During: that was straight after surgery

and this photo is from today

I will update as i get further along :)

Good bruise! You don't look too bad after surgery at all. I looked completely stoned! Hope the rest of your recovery goes well. Looking forward to seeing progress pics :-)
Bit of a tip...keep taking photos every couple of days even when you think all of your swelling has gone. I was really surprised by how much things improved between week 8 and 12 without me even noticing.

Thanks :) that's the first thing my dad commented on -my chin even though it's do swollen. I'm glad my lips naturally join too (I hope it's not just because they are swollen)

I have some better pictures of my bite before on my computer, but I was using the laptop so just had those, when I'm next on the computer I'll add them

You look like you are doing really well Lily, crazy bruises tho!
You can see results are going to be fab, congratulations.
I do the whole pushing my jaw forward thing, have to think about it all the time especially when sat at my desk at work or sat in traffic, it gets tedious. Can't wait for that not to be the case.
Keep more pics coming if you don't mind will be following your progress with interest. Wishing you a speedy recovery :)

Bsso for overbite on 21st December. Lower advanced 8mm upper impacted by 3mm and moved forward 2mm.

Thank You. Don't worry I will - the pics help a lot mentally especially when you're having a bad day.

I think it's going to be strange just smiling naturally, not worrying about it every minute.

I have a gap between my teeth at the back though so will have my braces on up to a year after - I'm glad I have the gap though because it means I have more room for a straw or syringe
