BRACES ARE OFF! 4 months post surgery!

    YAYYYYY! I had surgery 24th Feb 2011 to correct a severe underbite, top and bottom jaw.

    Your results are great, you look awesome! Congrats on getting the braces off you must be beyond pumped. I am 4 weeks post op and my orthodontist says his goal is to have mine off by christmas time so i'm keeping my fingers crossed!

    Thank you! So happy my braces are off after having them for two years :)
    Awwh fingers crossed! I know they have ti be on for at least 3 months after your surgery.

    your orthodontist put your braces off pretty fast, did you push him into letting you take them off or were your teeth ready? And make sure you wear your retainers or your could have some relapse!

    It was four months post op. That doesn't seem to fast to me. It's what I'm hoping for too!

    Yeah 4 months is about right, my Orthodontist has told me I will have my braces on for up to 6 months after the operation.

    Wow such a huge difference! You look gorgeous :) Congrats on getting your braces off! It was the best feeling in the world when I got mine off the first time. I'm hoping mine won't be on long now. My teeth have been done for a while now. I'll find out in a few weeks when I see her again! But your results look awesome!

    Thank you everyone for your lovely comments :) I get my retainer today! And definitely will make sure I wear it! The worse thing now would be for my teeth to move after everything.
