I thought I'd show everyone my before pics since my surgery is three days away. I'm really excited for my surgery. I can hardly wait for it. It's like I'm urging the sun to set so it can be the next day already :D I wish I could fast forward time, it's getting so close to my surgery date. It's driving me nuts.

(Sorry for the bad quality pictures, my webcam doesn't take the best pictures)
I'm hoping that the final result of my surgery will turn out good, all I know is that it can't get worse than how I currently look.
I'll post my during recovery pics in a couple days, since my surgery is only a couple days away:D
Does anyone else find the surgical hooks really annoying? They get caught on my lips all of the time and they rub me in the wrong way literally.

    Hello!

    Oooh, it's getting so close.
    Eat, eat, eat!
Do it for all of us sulking over soup! Haha:D

I don't like the hooks either, I often sit with my lip caught, just now I can't feel it!
Invest in a nice big pot of Vaseline :)

Thanks, I have been eating some of the things that I'm going to miss out on. I'm so excited. I've been heckling my little sisters about how this is going to be the last few times they'll ever see this version of myself. I can't wait for the change.

Yeah my lip gets caught on them too. I have a little cut from one of mine. It's so annoying. Tonight & tomorrow I am going out to eat with some of my friends & family. I will definitely be stuffing my face & taking advantage of food!

Xtina, Are you beginning to get presurgery jitters? I think I am. I have butterflies in my stomach when I think about how I'm going to be having my surgery in only two days. I'm glad that we're having surgery around the same time, for me it gives me an extra boost of support because I can feel like I'm not going through it alone and that someone is going through the things I will be going through. I'm getting double jaw surgery. I wish I knew the scientific name for what they will be doing to me but I don't remember. I just know that they are moving my lower jaw back and moving my top forward. But I wish us the best of luck. I know we won't regret what we're going to have done to our bites:D

I had double jaw surgery too, mine was called a bimaxillary osteotomy if that helps! :)

It sounds familiar, so maybe that's what I'm getting. I had a sheet with all of the procedures listed on it that my surgeon is planning to do on my jaw. I wish I kept it so I could look up what they are going to do to me.

This is the result of my surgery. I'm so glad I went through with it. I can't stop smiling. I can honestly say that I feel like a happier person now that I'm not insecure about my smile. It's really life-changing.
