   Hey guys so had 2 wk check up today with ortho and surgeon.

   First they started off by sayin how great looking i was all over too.lol but then went on to say as i was so sick looking the wk before....thanxs for that.lol

   neway got splint out.....yeahhhhhhhh!

   got stiches at bottom of mouth removed and surgeon was so happy that most swellin is gone and teh difference the surgery has made, still puffy checks but he said it will go down nxt few wks.
   Told him about pain in rite side of face and leadin up to my ear he said this all normal as the rotated teh jaw more at that side so he happy that im in pain.lol as this means evthing healin fine.

   was advised it wud hurt today abit as the teeth will be tryin to grind 2gether now that teh splint is out.....well yes i was in pain, dosed up with pain killers did teh trick.lol

   Neway loving my new teeth now that i can see them and was able to eat better which i am really happy with.lol

   neway just thought id keep ye's updated and bk in 2 wks to get loser elsatics....so excited and gonna enjoy xmas now with a nicer smile....oh and can talk normal again too!!!! :-)

   Hey bonbon that's really good news, there is light at the end of the tunnel. When did you find the majority if your seeking went down my face is huge right now and very uncomfortable. I'm day 3 or will he at midday today. Thanks x

   Bsso for overbite on 21st December. Lower advanced 8mm upper impacted by 3mm and moved forward 2mm.

   donna day 3 and 4 was the worst for me, swelling and evthing else was very emotional time.lol
   If u start to feel down just try and push through it and remember y u have done it all!

   linzi dont even talk to me about teh takeaway, got my rice and sauce really looking forward to it, got home and so dissapointed, bearly ne sauce was so dry took couple mouth fulls and other half finshed it, sat and huffed like a big kid.lol

   other half felt bad for me so went and got me big tube of white buttons to stuck on.lol

   Yeah keeping thinking few days and things will be better, actually feels better having being banded today feels more secure. Drooling like a gooden and missing my daily fix of dairy milk ;) x

   bonbon2111 - do you have photos, we would love to see! Congratulations on such successful recovery. How much swelling do you think you have at this point now 2 weeks post op? Do you have all feeling in your face?

   Double jaw surgery on 12/17/11. BSSO mandibular advancement of 10 mm; two-piece le fort 1 with 3 mm impaction and maxilla brought forward 1 mm.

   haha ive huffed like a big kid too and refused to eat if i couldnt have what i wanted lol.oh bless you ,maybe ill wait before i try takeaway then......infact ive refused my partner takeaway till i can.....i know i know im mean hehe x
