I'm finding the lack of choice really hard- are there any nice liquidised foods that people found got them through it?

I've said it before here and on the blog, so I don't know if you saw it already, but one of my secret weapons was watered-down peanut butter. I know it sounds kind of gross, but it tastes just like regular peanut butter, and it's a very welcome change, since most of the other shakes and drinks are so sweet.
All I did to make it was use Skippy Natural Creamy (I'm sure any of your favorite brands will do) and mix it with just a spoonful of water, until it's watery enough to go through your straw/feeding tube.
Some of my other staples were yogurt, Ensures, protein shakes, and soups. Oh, and applesauce, I would eat that by the jar!
I'm Brandon, the creator of JawSurgeryBlog.com. I personally had upper and lower jaw surgery on October 30, 2007. Thankfully, everything went beautifully, so I'm trying to make sure everyone else's surgery goes smoothly as well!

I was just thinking about my diet today. I'm only 7 days out from surgery and already very tired of my options so I searched online and here are some ideas that I found.
- broccoli, cauliflower, cheese puree
-banana, peanut butter, ice cream shake
-carrot, parsley juice
-V8, veggie juices
-tomato soup w/ chili seasoning or mexican seasoning
-potato/cheese soup
-tomato soup with pureed green pepper, onion, cilantro, taco seasoning
-puddings
-applesauce w/apple pie spices
-thin mashed potatoes w/cream cheese and parmesan
-sweet potatoes w/maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla
-macaroni and cheeseHope this helps.
