    Hi,

It is not unusual to have a sore throat after surgery. Nasal congestion, drainage can add to this, a liquid decongestant can help. But usually the sore throat goes away on it's own.

Your furry tongue is usually caused by not being hydrated enough. If it doesn't clear up you could have a fungal infection. Use the mouthwash your doctor gave you.

Sleeping can be tough, it's probably your nasal congestion. Prop yourself up on a few people. The first week I hardly slept at all, short cat naps was all I could manage.

The nosebleeds, nasal congestion, sinuses are blocked, use a liquid decongestant.

Swollen, dried lips, hydration, moisturizers and time.

I'm nine weeks postoperative, numbness is getting better. For some people it takes up to 6 months to go away, it takes time.

Take care, it will get better,
    Joan
