woke up feeling really hot and sick. They managed to cool me down and gave me the most sickness stuff i could have (i'd already been given two lots) then i went to the High Dependacny Unit which i stayed in until Yesterday.
The pain was nothing, i am numb. Even my tongue, which the surgeon seemed surprised at.
I had all the drugs in the world which helped, they were trying to put me on a catatha so i got up to go to the toilet and fainted (they lay me down on the toilet floor with a pillow lol) but things got better, it was very uncomfortable but still no pain.
The pain began yesterday when i got these elastic bands put on (for at least a month) they tightened them today and i was crying with the pain - it goes right up to my ear. I mentioned this today, but i wanted to go home so i said it got better. I've took some of my meds now and it's not as bad.
I can notice the different already, but becuase i'm in pain i'm thinking is it worth it. Have a bad day today, feeling sorry for myself.
The surgery took three hours and the surgeon said it went well.
I can just about manage a straw in and have lost 4 pounds so far.
Please tell me it gets better :(
