    hi..im 18 and am having maxiofacial surgery in august this year.
    I've met with my consultant twice now but he still hasnt realli gone into great detail about what exactly its goin to be like post op. im just wonderin if anyone who's had it done can give me an insight into how long it took 4 their swelling to go down and for life 2 go bak 2 normal?? any info greatly appreciated :D

    Hi Popsoks,

    I know it sometimes seems like you're being a burden to your surgeon when you ask a lot of questions, but try not to feel that way, as he is going to have the most information and insightful answers to questions about your case. If he's a good surgeon, he will be more than happy to answer any questions and concerns you have along the way.
