help peps im bored!

    hey guys im 3 wks post op, still off wrk and bored to death.lol
    tryin to get each day do wee things or visitin friends but teh weather that bad at min the cold really hurts my jaw if i go out.

    ne ideas to keep me occupied?
    p.s. think i have played with my son's santa toys more than he has.lol

    part from bordem im doin great and eatin evthin that can be mashed down, just lukin forward to ortho app nxt wk to get looser elastics and hopefully go ahead to chew as recovery going great, apart from constant pain in ear from the jaw esp at nite ne1 else havin this too?

    yes !!! i had that pain in my eat aswell.only on the one side but it even hurt to put my finger inside me ear.at week 5 it has now gone.

    do you use facebook? theres some quite addictive ,absolutely pointless games on there .you can build your own village.....yes ive been very bored lol x

    yeah mine only one side too i said to surgeon he said it is expected due to the jaw being rotated more at that side, hopin it wears off soon too!

    awh linzi i am sick of lukin at fb but dosent stop me gin on it 50 times a day.lol

    the other half off wrk too till nxt wk and he same, r weather just so bad and r bridges keep gettin closed off with bad winds.

    he siad he takin me out 2marrow, we dont know where but just sumwhere.lol

    haha well thats me out of ideas then ,facebook has sadly been my life for 5 weeks.
    my boss came round the other day and gave me a course to do at home and ive done.....none of it lol....but it keeps me busy finding pointless things to do to avoid doing it hehe.

    least you can be bored together ,take yourself off to the sales and treat yourself :-) x

    well actually he took me into town teh other day to go shoppin in the sales, we had to come home again cuz it was evcar park was bumper to bumper for half a mile, madness!

    jan sales worse than pre xmas shopping.lol

    Here is what I've been doing:

    -Sculpting things from the crazy dreams I've been having (I will not share these, too scary).
    -Creating wooden sculptures for my medical care providers (some are in my blog)
    -Wood burning images that my wife (an artist) draws for me (see below)
    -Playing with the cat (we've bonded)
    -Playing piano
    -Learning Japanese (pimsleur approach, $10 USD CD's, if it doesn't work, I'm out $10, big woop. Still waiting for materials).

    I've been watching really addictive t v series, when you finish one you just have to watch another.
    Lie to you, Bones (David borenaz) Hawaii 5 0 (Alex O'loughlin) watching a bit of eye candy does the trick lol x

    Bsso for overbite on 21st December. Lower advanced 8mm upper impacted by 3mm and moved forward 2mm.

    donna i luv bones i have it on my planner on series link, i have always luved david borenaz even back in teh days when he was Angel!lol

    no plans linzi, sis was havin a party but she cancelled it as she sick, kind of glad cuz really not up tryin to talk to people aprt frm family and my own friends.lol

    im terrified too incase people bump into me im very protective of my face now.lol

    no proabably a night in front of the box with a few glasses of something.we did think of the pub but like you say i too am on guard of my face when out anywhere busy so doubt id enjoy myslef x
