    Hi Snegop

Yes, your face change, but it depends of the surgery that you are having I believe you see more change in your face when you have a bi-jaw surgery. I feel my face has change for good. Some of my friends think I look better before, but I like how I look now, I recognize myself in the mirror and I'm really happy with my bite :D. The big change that I see are my cheeks. :-)

Hey I would say yes as well. Since I have had my surgery, my nose seems like it looks a whole lot better than it did before. I had bi-jaw surgery and with my surgery both upper and lower jaws were moved forward. To begin with I had no upper lip at all and also my tip of my nose was facing down. So by moving my upper jaw forward it picked up my nose and I have a fuller set of lips now. I am very impressed. To begin with, my surgeon told me that I had somewhat of a masculine face. Now of course he did mean nothing by saying that cause I knew it was true. My families genetics were a bit unfortunate. However, I feel so much better about myself. The things I had issues with before are resolved now. Just can't wait to see how I look after all the swelling goes down.

I posted this on another thread, but just in case you don't see it:

I only had my lower jaw moved forward to correct an overbite and my face changed slightly for the worse. I have a square jaw line now which looks masculine. In pictures, my face makes it seem like I gained 15 pounds as opposed to my "before" pics even though I actually lost 8 pounds.

When I open my mouth, my bite is perfect now, so the surgeon did his job, but my face looks worse and I am depressed. When I have some money, I am going to look into shaving my jaw line or something to fix this.

    Hi RebeccaJaw2widenow

Sorry to hear that you didn't like the result of your surgery. Do you might to put some pictures? How long ago was your surgery? Sometimes I think we are too hard with ourselves.
We start looking for more things in our face that we think look wrong. Just remember that the final result take around 6 to 12 months.

had mine a month ago, im super happy with the results i had a 13mm underbite i think, they did work on my chin, upper and lower jaw lol. So far i noticed my voice got deeper, and i grew an upper lip and jaws actually match now. The whole chewing food thing is crazy.
