I had upper and lower jaw surgery 15 days ago. I was concerned about being banded shut after the surgery because I was such a mouth breather and couldn't breathe well through my nose before surgery due to a fall many years ago. I wasn't expecting jaw surgery to fix my breathing issues, but I can breathe really well out of my nose now, what a nice extra benefit of jaw surgery.

I feel the same thing! I'm about 20 days post op and my allergies have significantly went down & breathing through my nose is so much easier!

Yes, I agree too. I noticed right after I woke-up from surgery that I could breathe better even with blood in my nose. That was definitely one of the perks of jaw surgery.
