Is this normal after surgery??

Hi. I am a little over 2 weeks since I had double jaw surgery and I just wanted to know your opinions. My wire is broken and my gum on the right side of my upper jaw is almost covering 2 of my teeth which bothers me a lot. 2 braces are miss aligned and I am confused as to why that happened during the surgery. As far as I know, the only thing they did with my upper jaw is move it upwards so I don't know why there's all these changes on my teeth. Has everyone who has had the surgery had those changes on the braces and teeth?

No, the only thing that happened to me was since the surgeon cut my wires to cut my upper jaw into 3 pieces, the wire kept getting caught in my upper lip, and that hurt like crazy!!

I would ask your surgeon.
