Hey everyone I just have a quick question. I have been wondering does anyone know of any problems that can occur because of jaw surgery 5 years, 10 years down the road. Basically I am worried about whats going to happen in the long run. I am just thinking one day I am gonna wake up and my whole face is just going to start hurting and ill be thinking i wish i never went through with the surgery. I would love to hear from people that have had jaw surgery a really long time ago and hear about your experience. Does you jaw ever fell like its original, like do i have to always keep in the back of my head not to get hit in the face so my jaw does not fall off. Thank You For all the help you guys have provided before i really appreciate it.

I just want to bring up the issue, so others can give some of their thoughts to it.

My friend had this surgery when she was in grade 8. Now she's in her 3rd year of university and she tells me there are no complications what so ever. She just can't open her mouth as wide as before.
