Hello there!
Last week I had my reconstructive jaw surgery for both jaws last wednesday. I must say when I got out of surgery I couldn't believe how different I looked when it was all done! My surgeon didn't need to attach any rubber bands to the brackets/teeth to keep the bite correct as he was confident the bite was set and to this day it still is.
The first few days were the hardest due to the pain, swelling, difficulty to eat and sleepness nights. At the moment my face is still swollen and numb but has gone down gradually and I still have the odd pain and sore around both jaws but thats what Ibrophen is for!
It's difficult to talk still due to the swelling and numbness but over the coming weeks and months, they should subside and the jaws to be as strong as what they were before.
I just wanted to say that this forum and site has been really helpful and I hope things are going really well for you Brandon with your new look.
Also when can we see the 2 year anniversary video??
Later!
