little spots on face?

    I'm 6 weeks post op and i've noticed more and more little spots on my cheeks and a few now on my forehead. Before my operation my skin was very clear and I very rarely had spots.
    Has any one had this problem?
    Advice?

    Yes, it's quite common to break out weeks and even months after surgery. Your skin has been through a lot. Being stretched with the swelling causes your oil glands to overproduce. Don't worry, it'll calm down and clear up with time.

    Hi jasminedawn. Would u show us more pics of ur recovery process? Just had my surgery done & I find I look a lot like u did after :). My nose looks different so far, a bit upturned, but In my case i hope it comes down a bit. Yours looked very nice. How is it looking these days? Haha :)

    I am so glad that I found this topic on here. I am having the same problem. I am having a bad break out on my cheeks. Not so much on my forehead but some on my chin. It sucks really bad. I thought maybe I was allergic to the bandages I had on my face for like a week. Thanks so much for this post. It makes me feel so much better.

    Hi BabyDoll! yeah, i will definatly update the after pictures soon :) I THINK the upturn has gone down a tiny bit, unless i've just got more use to it now lol, hope your recovery is going well!

    that's alright demi :) i'm glad i'm not the only one! i do hope they clear up soon though

    My t-zone has been REALLY oily since I had my surgery (upper and lower), it's gross! I'm trying a few new cleansers now so I hope that helps. I've also had a couple of breakouts too, there's this dumb pimple right under my lower lip that just won't go away!

    Suzanna I know exactly what you are talking about. I have had these two bumps on my right cheek that won't go away. I have used Clinique for acne and Clearsil nothing seems to clear them up. I sure hope they go away soon because they are so noticeable and embarrassing.

    I had a really oily t zone too for about two- three weeks after my surgery but luckily that's calmed down now! just these silly little spots that are starting to appear.

    my little spots are getting worse every day!!! my skin is horrible at the moment, does anyone know of anything/ cremes etc that may work? Thank you x
