Hi Leila, I still don't have full sensation back in my lower lip or chin. I can feel hot and cold and when I rub my chin roughly then it gives a really weird sensation inside my lower lip. I did query all this with the Surgeon but I was told that it could now take up to 2 years to come back. I was initially told a year. Apart from that I can still do everything normally although I do need to keep checking that I haven't spilt anything down my chin whilst I'm eating or drinking because if it's not freezing or roasting then I don't feel it. At this point I wouldn't worry about the sensation not being back but I'd like to think that yours also would return to normal soon. Do you have no sensation or a little bit or most of it back? Id say I have about 85% of mine back so I'm not worrying as everything else is ok. As long as you still get tingly feelings now and again then it means more sensation is beginning to return. Hope it returns soon for you also.
