I met my doc who s an ortho!!! he never wanna me to trouble me by undergoing surgery , feeling no need for that(can't believe his words) ...note there s a quite big gap btw my upper jaw teeth and lower jaw teeth(may be 2 cm ,not sure) ...and i have a receding chin too...he wanna me to do chin augmentation if necessary to correct my receding and to have a gud look or profile ...even i feel like that becoz i just want my face to luk gud...not much worried abt the gap...my question can i have chin augmentation intially (during dec) and later after 5yrs if necessary ll have jaw surgery to correct the gap..what do u think??? does the gap the teeth of both jaws creates any pbm to me ...my doc is clear abt that u wont get troubled by that gap...what do u say??? doing chin augmentation ll make my profile gud??? i m under confusion ...as a doctor tell ur valuable suggestions..note i m not interested n wearing braces for 1 and yr more and to have surgery and to wear braces after surgery too , need to undergo lots of pain thru the process too , tat's y he recommended me have chin augmentation for it( becoz i tired of wearing braces for nearly 6 yrs(corrected my overbite pbm)...not n a mood to wear braces anymore) ...pls reply me..my question s can i have chin augmentation alone , as if the gap btw the teeth may not be visible to ppl who see me unless i open and show them..wat do y think??this s my current decision , ll have surgery after 5 yrs if possible...now i wanna to get rid of the receding chin ...and btw he tells me gap wont affect my speech too , is tat true??? pls help me i m confusion..i can't pronounce some words...
