Well I had my surgery now 3 years ago. I had a slight underbit, but the surgeon decided it was best I had my upper jaw moves foward a couple mm and I also had like a slight cross bite so then also my lower jaw was moved slightly. On the way after the surgery there were a few things I noticed. For example breathing wise and my face not being symmetrical. I had to had a 2nd operation on my nose because I started having breathing problems. This was a yr and 4months later after my 1st operation. Now a yr after that my braces were taken off. Now its been 3yrs and I just noticed recently that my upper jaw moves slightly when I bite down. And actually more from the right said. I am really nervous because I was fine till I noticed this. Im scared its going to affect me in the long run. I wasnt planning on ever touching my face again. Since in reality I was or still not that happy with my results. But Ive learned to cope with it. Has this happend to anyone else?? Is this a serious problem I should look into more or should I just eat soft foods? Thank you.
