Question about lips and recovery

I am three weeks post op from upper, lower and chin surgery. Most of my swelling has gone down except my chin and lips. My lips have gotten super iritated and are now sticking to my braces because the inside of them are so dry. I try to keep them moist but I don't know what else to do. Has anyone else had this issue. Aside from putting wax on every single one of my braces I am at a loss. Also, how long does it take for the swelling to go down in the lips, it seems like I have made very little progress.

I'm four weeks post op and still have swelling in the jaw where the bones were cut and the lips. I have feeling on the upper right lip but the rest are still numb. I just want the numbness to go away lol...i still have no feeling on part of my palate and teeth.
