    Good advice all round!

I've started to meet with friends more, I've downloaded a text to talk app on my phone so if I get bored of handing people notes or mumbling lots I can talk through my electronic talking friend.

Also just bought Fifa 12 so that will consume a good part of my life now, although this wooden sheep construction is taking my fancy.

Thursday 27th October is my independence day!

OMG, I laughed so hard reading this post! I was writing a list of all the weird crap I've created since having surgery three weeks ago and quickly realized I NEED to go back to work. So far, I've made homemade jam, Halloween crafts, watched three seasons of Rescue Me, perfected Peppermint Hot Cocoa and created a blog. And for your enjoyment, the jam and craft pics follow. LOL. It will get better, trust me.

    Squee!
The spider lollypop is oddly cute!

Crafts have totally kept me going.
My halloween costume is nearly done. Just attempting to attach a tail...

Just to add, you could always make a fancy bunny.

Ok I see all the fun stuff you guys are doing but how did you get the energy? I haven't been able to do much of anything and feel useless. I am having trouble eating because of my stomach. (I think the pain meds recked havac in there) so I think that is why I can't accomplish anything. Reading seems beyond me most of the day. Watched all of the episodes of Heartland (Canadian Show) browsed through a bunch of magazines that I had still in wrappers and have been able to surf the net a bit. Other then that it seems out of reach for me right now. I am 2 weeks post-op.

hi all, I will be 2 weeks post-op tomorrow, and today was the first day I could even fathom the idea of reading. I've watched loads of breaking bad though. I think that show will be the ultimate thing that gets me through jaw surgery!!
