Teeth grinders

    Hey guys,

    just wondered if there are any other bad teeth grinders and clenchers out there and/or tongue thrusters! I'm culprit of all of the above. My surgery is in a few weeks and I still don't know the details of whats happening and won't be seeing my surgeon for 2 more weeks!

    I'm worried about grinding my teeth after the op!

    I had this same problem, and my surgeon told me that after surgery your muscles will be so weak that it wont be an issue. I still felt like i was clenching my teeth a bit after surgery, but the surgeon was right and my muscles were really weak so it didn't cause any problems.

    Thanks for your reply Sarah! Great news as well I wondered how I was going to be coping straight after! Were you banded shut?

    you'll cope fine, i was only banded shut for the first week :)
