hey guys! today is day 5 after my jaw surgery! I am recovering pretty well, but the only thing that i am worried about is the numbness on my lower lip and chin...my surgeon cut a nerve. he told me that it may be permanent but because i am young, he believes it will heal itself over time! I am 18 and I am praying to God that i will heal completely and be back to normal soon! I do feel a lot of tingling and "ant bites" on the are that is numb. is that a good sign? please help out! thank you so much guys!!!

Memberyes that means the nerves are still "alive". im sure it will come back, just give it time.
