To do, or not to do Genioplasty

    Does anyone have any new before/after pics of double jaw surgery + genioplasty for weak profiles? I've seen the ones already posted on the forum, but would like to see more. I will have my bottom jaw advanced to correct my weak profile, but I'm not sure if genioplasty is needed as well. I've had such a small chin for so long, I'm afraid that if I get genioplasty I might be traumatized by the results (too much chin), or regretful that I didn't do it and am still unhappy with my profile.

    Hi ready4change! I'm new here also. Not sure if you're still following this post. I actually posted a long comment about my concern with this as well. See bracedblogger's comment: "undecided regarding genioplasty - please advise!" Good luck with what you decide to do! When is your surgery?

    Double jaw surgery on 12/17/11. BSSO mandibular advancement of 10 mm; two-piece le fort 1 with 3 mm impaction and maxilla brought forward 1 mm.
