I remember reading here that people loved the Zip N Squeeze bags to drink after surgery, but that they weren't available right now. I happened to get a set for a gift before I left for CA for my surgery, but I forgot them! I have listed them on Ebay if anyone is interested. I can't personally vouch for how good they work, but they seemed to have gotten great reviews.

What is a Zip and Squeeze bag?
Posted 2 years ago # -
From their description "The Zip-n-Squeeze Bag is a new feeding system designed for those who require a liquid diet. These squeezable bags make hydration and nutrition a simple task not an overwhelming event. Zip-N-Squeeze bags are the first product designed specifically for jaw surgery patients and those with oral-facial muscle weakness. In the past the only other options for consuming a liquid diet were a syringe & catheter, turkey basters or sipee cups. This product is fun and easy to use greatly reducing anxiety at mealtime. Each bag can be rinsed and reused then discarded after a few days."
It is basically a bag with a straw that you use to squeeze the liquid or food into your mouth instead of sucking or using a catheter syringe.Posted 2 years ago # -
Yeah, I've heard great things about the actual product if you can get your hands on one, so it could definitely be a good investment for pre-surgery patients.
The "regular" way that I did it was just use a tube attached to a syringe which is essentially the same thing, except with the syringe, you only get a little bit at a time and have to keep refilling it.
With the Zip-N-Squeeze, you fill the whole bag up first, then get to drink/eat a lot more at a time, without constantly and tediously stopping and starting.

Scoopy, I am new to the site. Happened upon it while researching zip 'n squeeze bags. I am having bimaxillary surgery next month and would really like to get my hands on some of these bags. I checked ebay but couldn't find them. Do you still have them, and if so, would you like to sell them?

Hi all, http://www.zip-n-squeeze.com/zns.html this is the address for a website that sells the zip and squeeze bags and also sells a hands free face wrap, that you just slot the flexible ice packs into and strap it around your head and face. hope everyone is well.

Lisa, the problem with that website is that PayPal no longer accepts payments for that vendor, apparently due to the inability to fulfill orders. All other websites selling the bags state that the product is currently unavailable. Thanks, anyway!

Zip-n-Squeeze products is no longer in business and manufacturing any of their products. We use to carry their bags and loved them. We developed some new bags that work like the old ZNS bags did. They're called NutriSqueeze pouches and they're also a reclosable pouch with an integrated straw.
You can more about them on our website here: https://www.craniorehab.com/nutrisqueeze-pouches.html
A comparison between them and the ZNS bags is here: https://www.craniorehab.com/zip-n-squeeze.htmlThey're new, so we're looking for people to try them and give us more feedback.
